Bell Cyber Security AI Booth Activation

When Bell Cyber Security approached  Polar Ice Photobooth for their multi-day trade show activation in Halifax, the original request was simple: a traditional photo booth experience for attendees.

But instead of delivering a standard branded photo experience, we proposed something designed to stop attendees in their tracks.

Our recommendation: an AI-powered activation that transformed guests into futuristic “Cyber Defenders.”

Trade shows are crowded environments where brands compete heavily for attention. Bell Cyber Security wanted more than just branded photos — they wanted; a memorable booth experience, increased foot traffic, higher attendee engagement, socially shareable content, an activation aligned with their cybersecurity brand identity. The goal was to create an experience attendees would actively seek out rather than simply pass by.

We created a custom experience that transformed attendees into futuristic “Cyber Defenders” using AI-generated imagery tailored to Bell Cyber Security’s brand and industry.

The Results

The activation quickly became one of the standout experiences at the Halifax

trade show

Key Outcomes

  • Nearly 200 unique attendees participated during the event

  • Significant booth traffic increase through the trade show

  • Attendees repeatedly returned to experience the booth again

  • Strong engagement and conversation around the acvitaiton

  • High social shring and visibiltiy on the trade show floor.

Following the success in Halifax, Bell Cyber Security brought the same activation

to Ottawa, where it once again drove strong engagement and positive attendee

feedback.

This project showcased how AI-powered experiences can elevate trade show activations beyond  traditional photobooths turning booth traffic into memorable brand interaction. For Bell Cyber Security, the activation didn't just capture photos, it captured attention.

Consensus 2025 Retro Photo Activation at Acronym Plaza & Digital Spenders Club

Consensus 2025, one of the world’s largest crypto trade shows, brought thousands of attendees to Toronto for a multi-day Web3 experience. Our client, Acronym Plaza and Digital Spenders Club, secured a premium booth location directly at the main entrance of the trade show floor and transformed the space into a retro 1990s strip mall experience.

One of the featured spaces was a nostalgic “One Hour Photo” activation powered by Polar Ice Photobooth.

Using our Portrait Studio service with custom digital backdrops, guests could choose from five retro-inspired scenes and receive professionally directed portraits instead of traditional photobooth images.

To achieve the authentic 90s aesthetic, we used a specialist portrait photographer along with custom posing, lighting, and specialty lens filters that created a true vintage look. Guests received instant prints and digital sharing within approximately 60 seconds, making the activation a major attraction throughout the event.

Delta Airlines 360 Booth Activation at the Vancouver International Wine Festival

Polar Ice Photobooth partnered with Delta Air Lines at the Vancouver International Wine Festival to create an interactive 360 video booth experience designed to increase booth traffic and brand engagement throughout the event.

To align with Delta’s branding, we created a custom branded backdrop featuring the Delta Air Lines logo, giving every video a clean and recognizable branded look. The 360 booth quickly became a major attraction on the event floor, drawing guests into the activation and increasing foot traffic to the client’s space.

Guests received their 360 videos instantly via text and email, making it easy to share their branded content on social media in real time. The activation helped extend Delta’s reach beyond the event itself by turning attendees into brand ambassadors through instant social sharing and organic online exposure.

Results

The 360 booth activation generated consistent engagement throughout the festival, attracting a steady flow of attendees to the Delta Air Lines booth and creating a memorable branded experience for guests. The instant sharing feature encouraged high levels of social media participation, helping Delta expand its visibility both on-site and online during the event.

Toronto International Boat Show x Dejardins Insurance

At the Toronto International Boat Show, Desjardins Insurance wanted an interactive activation that would attract attendees, create memorable branded content, and encourage social sharing throughout the event floor.

To bring the concept to life, Polar Ice Photobooth designed a custom green screen experience that transported guests onto their own luxury boat at sea during a cinematic sunset. Guests were invited to personalize the experience by naming the boat anything they wanted, creating a fun and highly shareable keepsake that felt unique to each attendee.

The activation combined:

  • Custom green screen photography

  • Personalized boat naming overlays

  • Branded Desjardins Insurance integration

  • Instant digital photo delivery

  • A themed nautical experience tailored specifically to the event audience

The interactive element of naming the boat became a major conversation starter, drawing attendees into the booth and increasing engagement on the trade show floor. Guests loved seeing themselves featured on a luxury yacht scene, and the customized output encouraged immediate sharing with friends and on social media.

The result was a high-energy activation that blended creativity, personalization, and brand visibility while delivering a memorable experience aligned perfectly with the boating lifestyle and atmosphere of the show.
